Kala Rakhonn Mandd,
Goa.
Lets fight for the Soul of Goa which lies in our Arts and Cultural Heritage of our beloved state!
Our Core Initiatives
Empowering change for a brighter future of the arts in Goa!
Save
Kala Academy, Goa
Our first call of duty is to rally for the cause of Kala Academy,
Its been shut for 3 years and is in shambles even after they have re-opened it! If we goan artists and art stakeholders dont band together and get the government to take the neccesary action then we will loose the soul and essence of the iconic institution forever!
All Goan
Arts & Culture
Complexes
WE in Goa are blessed to have multiple Art and Culture complexes accross the state,
most of these complexes are either in shambles or not in optimal working conditions,
either-way they are in need of being run in a way thats welcoming to the artist community to come and propagate thier art, which now instead propagates government events!
Goan
Arts & Culture
The entire ministry and departments of Goan arts and culture is in dire straits,
we artits and art stakeholders from Goa need to take it upon us to hold the respected government leaders accountable to uplifting the community and the overall art and culture output of the state of Goa.
Arts & Culture
in Education
we the Goan artistic community believe that the environment to encourage arts and culture in our Goan schools and Colleges needs to be done in a more focused and planned manner,
this is one of the things we want to do as an organisation.

Connecting Artists &
Saving our Cultural Heritage
Building a better future for the Goan arts sceen!
Our movement, the ‘Kala Rakhonn Mandd’, is not just about the Kala Academy. We have witnessed similar neglect in cultural complexes across Goa. From lack of funding to threats of demolition, our artistic spaces are under siege. In response, we are forming committees in all 12 talukas of Goa to address these widespread issues.
On July 2, 2024, we officially launched our movement, gathering at the gates of the Kala Academy. We made our demand to meet with the Chief Minister to present our grave concerns. We are also seeking a joint meeting with key government officials to discuss the White Paper and the future of our cultural institutions.
